Absolute Poker Room Review
Absolute Poker is a well known brand in online poker and offers players some very competitive promotions including their own signature line up of events. They have consistently remained one of the leaders in the industry for player reward programs and have maintained the open door policy for US players. The company is regulated and licensed through the Kahnawake Gaming Commission with a certified RNG. Players will find an assortment of tournaments available including those providing seats to live events on top of the most recent edition the Absolute Bad Beat Jackpot. This alone has awarded over millions since its initial release and players seem to be landing the bad beat prize weekly.

The Absolute Poker bonus offers players an initial sign up bonus of 100% up to $500 which is released in increments of $5 through any by playing any of the poker rooms real money games. The bonus will have a released rate of 30 comp points for every $5 in bonus. Depositing players will also be rewarded with one of the industry’s top player reward programs. This VIP program is available in multiple levels awarding players comp points based on what platform you are at. Through this program you can expect to receive; extra bonuses, free cash offers, tournament entry tickets and of course the ability to collect comp points at a faster rate.
The competition at Absolute Poker can be both weak and tight due to the amount of beginners that are at the tables and the amount of bonus hunters who are looking to clear the Absolute bonus. You can expect to see a wide range of viewed flop percentage in the lobby as a result of this.
Absolute Poker offers your typical line up of ring games. These include; Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi Lo and Razz. What I do like about AP is no matter what size your bankroll is you will always find a table within your budget. The stakes are active right up to the $25/$50 No Limit in Texas Holdem. The room can attract over 4,000 cash players during peak hours and even in off peak hours the tables still see enough activity to be able to choose what game you want. Absolute Poker takes a 5% rake with a maximum limit of $3 per pot although the lower limits due contribute much less.
The tournaments featured here are very unique and well structured. They offers some very exclusive tournaments including the Absolute Poker Dream Package, $325,000 available in guaranteed tournaments every weekend along with a host of daily freerolls. If you are looking for a way to enter the big events on weekends Absolute is now offering a Triple Header available on Mondays. Players can enter this tournament for $150 buyin or satellite their way in, but it will award you with seats to all three guaranteed events on the weekend, a package worth $1650. Absolute Poker supports tournaments in Texas Holdem, Omaha, stud and Razz with buyins starting as low as $1 and climbing as high as a few hundred. Unlike other rooms you will rarely find an overlay here with most of the guaranteed games exceeding the set guaranteed prize pool. On average Absolute can attract over 9,000 tournament players daily during high traffic hours.
The software has been recently updated which in my opinion was well needed. I was surprised at a few of the features made available including the option to choose which table view you would like to use. They have provided you with three different table views including - a top view table which displays the table with basic avatar buttons, quarter view which is a full table view and the classic table. The graphics have also been given an overhaul and are now clear and up to par compared to other rooms. The lobby provides a custom filter allowing you to select which games you want to see displayed and is fairly detailed. You will also see your lobby statistics such as viewed flop percentage, average pots size and hands per hour which can easily be 100+. The table statistics are your standard data that you would expect from the room. With this new upgrade they have included more options at the tables instead of the lobby alone. Players have access to the cashier, hand history, game options and blackjack all without leaving the game you are playing. They also feature a replay button which allows you to play back the previous hand in animation. Multi tabling is available with up to four tables in play simultaneously. Players can use the full view mode or opt for a 4 x 4 view with an easy to use button. Switching between different options is very smooth so you won’t have to worry about interrupting your game. Overall I am quite impressed with the recent upgrade since every aspect of the room has received something positive making it very functional.
Support is available through email only. Absolute has divided their support department into separate areas making them very efficient in handling questions and concerns.
